Growing up with my father, Silvano, who has been a hairstylist for over 40 years, I saw from a young age how creative and fun the beauty industy could be. Seeing my father's success and happiness sparked me to pursue a career in cosmetology. Art has always been a passion and an influence in my life as well. Drawing, and later writing always came natural to me. At age nineteen my journey as a hairstylist began. Over the next few years, doing hair for me, felt nautral, and I realized it was art in a different medium. Building a relationship and trust with my clients also seemed to come natural for me. My dad taught me early on to always be there for your clients. Listen to them and understand. They are your #1 focus while in your chair. In 1996 I worked with my father at his salon and would remain until 2004. By this time, I met my beautiful wife, Donna. Donna and I had the shared dream of opening our own salon. After almost two years of planning and building out the space, AfterImage Salon opened in August of 2007. With Donna's savy business sense and my 17 years in the hair industry, our hard work paid off. The vision we had for AfterImage was realized. It's an open, warm and vibrant salon. an intimate and comfortable salon that offers haircare, skincare, massage and waxing services. Refreshments are always available for our clients to enjoy. Donna and I are proud to have an amazingly friendly and talented staff as part of our team: Our stylists, are experienced and versatile in the latest styles, color and hair designs. They cater to you, the individual, for all of your beauty needs. Our Massage Therapist, Kristina is well versed in many kinds of massage methods. She can do trigger-point, deep tissue, relaxation or hot stone massage. You'll feel relaxed and re-energized by the magic touch of Kristina. At AfterImage Salon, we want you to feel at home.
